I was so excited to be able to spontaneously visit my bff, Jessica who lives near Denver, Colorado. Jessica had called and told me about one of her friends who had a mold problem in the house they just bought and that she was freaking out because it was going to be expensive, and wondered if Dane would be interested in putting in a bid. So she gave Dane's phone number to her friend, and to make a long story short, we were on the road 3 days later on our way to Denver! Although I talk to Jessica almost every day, and sometimes many times a day, its not the same as being able to see eachother. It had been two years since her family stayed with us in Boise. So while Dane was working hard, we were having fun and our kids were loving playing with each other!
Jessica's husband was able to get us free passes to The Wildlife Experience there. This is a picture of all the kiddos outside waiting to go in.

Dane's brother, Joey, lives in Aurora, and we were able to visit
with him and his girlfriend for a bit.
What a fun, unexpected trip, and a great start for our summer!
